Agent verification

What it is

Shows who is behind an AI agent and what it is allowed to do, and lets others check each action before they accept it.

Who it's for

Companies that run AI agents, and the merchants and platforms those agents deal with.

Steps
  1. Sign up and get API access.
  2. Register the owner's signing key, before you grant the agent anything.
  3. Write down what the agent is allowed to do: the actions, limits, counterparties, session and how long it is valid.
  4. Sign it with the owner's key and issue the record.
  5. Share the record link with the people the agent deals with.
  6. Merchants and platforms check each action through the API and get an answer: allow, deny, or needs a person.
In plain words
Mandate
The signed statement of what the agent is allowed to do.
Owner
The company or person the agent acts for.
Example
  • RP-2REW6MINFF5E: Proof Rail's reference agent record.
What you'll see
Screenshot to come
An agent record: the owner, what the agent is allowed to do, its limits and its status.
Good to know
  • Proof Rail does not make payments, check a person's identity, or guarantee how an agent behaves.
  • Checks run through the API. There is no form for them yet.
