Brand-deal email check
Check whether a sponsorship or brand-deal email really came from the brand it names.
Creators, influencers and agencies who receive partnership offers by email.
- Open proofrail.me/check and scroll to "Got a brand-deal email?".
- Paste the sender's address, or the whole email including its From line.
- Press Check.
- If it says the address is an official channel of the brand, its address or email domain is on that brand's verified record.
- If it says "Not verified" and names the brand's real website, contact the brand through that website before you reply, click a link or share any details.
- If no record is found, ask the brand to confirm the offer another way.
- From line
- The line at the top of an email that shows who sent it, for example "From: Deals <deals@brand.com>".
- hello@proofrail.me: Verified by Proof Rail (Proof Rail's own record).
- An address from an unknown domain: No verified record found for this.
Screenshot to come
- Only the From address is read. The rest of what you paste is discarded at once and nothing is stored.
- It checks who sent the email, not the offer. Proof Rail does not vouch for an offer, a contract or a payment.
